DAY 1
Arrive in Kathmandu
Please make sure your flights arrive no later than the evening of March 15th!
DAY 2
Group Briefing, Gear Check & Helicopter Flight to Lukla – Trek to Phakding
We'll spend the morning going over the trip, checking gear, and adjusting to jet lag. We arrange for a helicopter transfer from Kathmandu to Lukla, avoiding the hassle and difficulties with the typical airplane flight to Lukla! This is one of the major benefits of trekking with Skyline; we save time and risk of delaying the trip by taking helicopters to Lukla. We'll trek to our first tea house along the journey: Phakding.
