Where It Began
Skyline came from a vision: looking out at a horizon line and dreaming of what it might be like to be ‘there’, at the edge of the sky. Founder Justin Sackett set out to make the mountains accessible, safe, and special to everyone. We’ve laid our roots in the Pacific Northwest and have expanded our boundaries around the world, exploring what’s beyond that jagged ridgeline. We seek to create a guiding service that gets to know every client personally, to connect with your vision of the mountains and share ours with you. Our team is made up of passionate guides that will take you from your first glacier climb to climbing the world’s tallest peaks.
Origins
Skyline was born in the Pacific Northwest with a passion for exploring high peaks and alpine sunrises. We have a deep affinity for the Cascades and love exploring all they have to offer, from Mt. Baker to Mt. Shuksan to Mt. Rainier.
As we grow and expand our horizons, we’re excited to offer trips in the Himalaya, Alaska, Ecuador, and other amazing destinations around the world!

Sustainability and Equity
Skyline donates 1% of profits to a non-profit group each year. This year, we donated to NWAC to support their mission of saving lives through avalanche information and education. We also work alongside BIPOC and LGBTQ+ guides to offer not-for-profit affinity trips to make the mountains more accessible for all.
