About
Conditions
spring
March - June
Spring brings warmer temperatures, precipitation, and sunshine. Ski mountaineering objectives are in great shape this time of year, with some good weather windows for larger objectives.
Summer
June - September
Summer is when the mountains open their arms to us after a winter and spring of heavy snow and intense storms. Glaciated peaks see their best climbing conditions, rock climbing is ideal with stellar sending temps, and there is still plenty of skiing to be had high on glaciated slopes.
Fall
September - December
With the changing of the leaves comes colder temperatures and rain. This is a great time to focus on training, rock climbing on the dry days, and planning the next big adventure.
Winter
December - March
It's time to ski! Winter is the time to explore the back country, develop your avalanche education, or push your limitations
