Raised in New Hampshire’s White Mountains, Izzy’s entire life has been influenced by wilderness environments. Her passion for backcountry skiing and thru-hiking led her to the West Coast, where her career in the outdoor industry took root. Beginning as a whitewater raft guide and ski patroller, her keen eye for the mountains quickly led her towards glacial mountain guiding and backcountry ski guiding. Izzy maintains a Wilderness Emergency Medical Technician License, a Professional Avalanche Training Level 1, and is in the process of obtaining her Alpine and Ski AMGA tracks.
