Trip Itinerary

DAY 1
Arrive in Kathmandu
Please make sure your flights arrive no later than the evening of March 15th!
DAY 2
Group Briefing, Gear Check & Helicopter Flight to Lukla – Trek to Phakding
We'll spend the morning going over the trip, checking gear, and adjusting to jet lag. We arrange for flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, avoiding the 5 hour drive and uncertainty with the typical airplane flight to Lukla from Ramechap Airport! This is one of the major benefits of trekking with Skyline; we save time and risk of delaying the trip by going directly to Lukla from Kathmandu. We'll trek to our first village when we arrive in Lukla: Phakding.

Acclimatization Hike Around Namche Bazaar

Beautiful vilage with nice lodges.

Dingboche Acclimatization Hike

Trek to Lobuche
Great views of Lobuche to see conditions there!

Trek to Everest Base Camp
We make it to Everest Base Camp! We spend 2 nights in EBC, which is unique to Skyline! Most other base camp treks don't get to sleep in EBC!

Day at Everest Base Camp
Wake up beneath the world's tallest mountain!

Trek Back to Pheruche
Begin our trek back to Lukla
DAY 14
Trek Back to Namche Bazaar
Namche always feels like coming home.
