FAQ's
Do I need prior mountaineering experience?
Yes, previous experience with crampons is required prior to climbing Lobuche East. Shoot us a message for more details!
How heavy is my pack?
Plan for 15–20 lbs including personal gear, water, and food for the day. We have porters for each day of the trip that will carry each person's duffles from tea house to tea house each day. Summit day you will just carry what you need for the climb.
What boots do I need?
We reccomend double boots for climbing Lobuche East. Check the gear list for more details.
Who will be the guide?
We send an American guide on all of our international trips unlike most guide services. We've found that a guide that is fluent in English, properly trained, and fun to climb with makes all of the difference for a successful and safe trip to climb peaks in foregin countries. We'll connect you with your guide prior to the trip.
